About the Bundle ID / Package Name Validator
iOS apps use a bundle identifier and Android apps use a package name, both in reverse-DNS form like com.company.app. Small mistakes cause build or upload failures.
This tool checks that your identifier has at least two segments and that each segment follows the rules for the platform you choose.
For Android it applies Java package rules; for iOS it allows hyphens.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between Android and iOS rules?
- Android package segments must be valid Java identifiers (letters, digits and underscores, not starting with a digit) and cannot be Java keywords. iOS bundle IDs allow letters, digits and hyphens.
- How many segments do I need?
- At least two, such as com.example, but three like com.example.app is the common convention.
- Does a valid result guarantee it is available?
- No. It checks the format only. Availability on the App Store or Play Console is separate and depends on whether the ID is already taken.
