By using toolsonduty.com (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors worldwide.

Temporary wish backgrounds

Custom wish backgrounds accept JPEG, PNG or WebP images up to 2 MB. Images expire after 24 hours and the greeting then uses its selected built-in background. Anyone with the greeting link may view the image during that period. You must have the right to upload and share it, and must not upload confidential, unlawful or abusive content.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding agreement to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Use of the tools

Our tools are provided free of charge for lawful personal and commercial use. You are responsible for the content you process and for how you use the results.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for anything illegal, harmful or fraudulent.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Do not use the Service to distribute malware or to infringe the rights of others.
• Do not use Online Clipboard to distribute unlawful, abusive, deceptive, sexually exploitative, infringing or malicious content, or as permanent storage or backup.
• Do not use short links for phishing, impersonation, spam, pornography, deceptive redirects, unwanted downloads or content that violates an approved platform's terms.
• Do not bypass the destination allowlist, daily creation limit, expiry period or other short-link safeguards.
• Do not attempt to bypass security or access controls.

Temporary Online Clipboard

Online Clipboard accepts text up to 100 KB and selected images or files up to 10 MB. Shares expire after 24 hours or three confirmed retrievals, whichever happens first. Anyone with the six-digit code or private link may retrieve the content. You are responsible for sharing access carefully and for having the right to upload the content.

Executables, scripts, archives and other risky formats may be rejected. We may pause uploads or retrievals, reduce limits, or delete content to prevent abuse, control costs, comply with law or protect users and the Service. This feature is not guaranteed storage; keep your own copy of anything important.

Temporary URL Shortener

The free URL Shortener accepts only selected HTTPS hosts and URL patterns, allows up to 10 creations per IP address per UTC day, and creates links that expire after 10 days. We may reject, disable or remove any link to protect users, comply with law, respond to abuse or protect the Service's security and reputation.

Inclusion of a platform in the allowlist does not mean we verify, endorse or guarantee every user-created page on that platform. You remain responsible for checking the destination and for having the right to share it.

Not professional advice

The tools are provided for general information and convenience only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including financial, legal, tax, medical or security advice. For example, calculators and converters may not fit your specific situation, and security or cryptography tools do not guarantee protection. Always seek qualified professional advice and verify results before relying on them for important decisions.

Accuracy and availability

While we aim for accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee that results are correct or that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolsOnDuty and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ToolsOnDuty and its operator from any claims, losses, liabilities or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these terms.

Advertising and third-party links

The Service may display advertising and link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices, and any dealings with them are solely between you and the third party.

Intellectual property

The ToolsOnDuty name, design and original content are ours and are protected by applicable laws. The content you enter into the tools remains yours.

Termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these terms or misuse it. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your country of residence.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
