About the Image Splitter & Carousel Maker

Image Splitter creates individual panels from one source image. Equal-grid mode preserves native source pixels across up to eight rows and columns, including remainder pixels in the final row or column.

Social-carousel mode creates two to ten portrait panels at exactly 1080 × 1350 pixels. An optional repeated edge gives adjacent panels shared visual content, while the full source is cover-cropped across the continuous composition.

Every generated panel can be reviewed and downloaded separately or packaged in order inside one ZIP. All rendering stays in the browser.

Preview transitions because cover cropping and overlap change which edge details appear in adjacent panels.

Frequently asked questions

What does repeated edge mean?
Adjacent carousel panels share the selected number of pixels, which can make continuous artwork easier to follow while swiping.
Does grid mode resize my image?
No. It divides native source pixels and gives any remainder pixels to the final row or column.
Why is carousel content cropped?
The source is centre-cropped to cover the complete portrait-panel composition. Use a suitably wide source and keep important content away from outer edges.
What order are ZIP files in?
Files use zero-padded names such as carousel-01.png so ordinary filename sorting preserves the intended sequence.
Is the image uploaded?
No. Panel rendering and ZIP creation happen locally.
