About the PDF to Text

PDF to Text reads the existing selectable text layer from every page and joins it into a plain-text transcript. Explicit page markers preserve page boundaries for review and citation.

The output retains approximate reading order, not the visual layout. Fonts, columns, images, tables, and precise spacing are not reproduced in a TXT file.

This tool does not perform OCR. Extraction, preview, copy, and download stay in the browser, with document size and extracted text volume determining memory use.
