Generate a PGP/OpenPGP public and private key pair.
Keys are generated in your browser with OpenPGP.js and never leave your device. Share only the public key; keep the private key and passphrase secret.
100% private - runs entirely in your browser.
Your input, keys and passwords are never uploaded. Want proof? Load this page, then turn off your internet - the tool still works. For an exact check, open your browser's DevTools Network tab and confirm no data is sent when you use it.

Frequently asked questions
- Should I set a passphrase?
- Yes, for real use. The passphrase encrypts your private key so it is useless to anyone who copies it without the passphrase.
- ECC or RSA?
- ECC (Curve25519) is modern, fast and has small keys. RSA 4096 is widely compatible but slower. Choose ECC unless a system requires RSA.
- Are the keys uploaded?
- No. They are generated locally with OpenPGP.js. You can verify this by disconnecting your internet after the page loads.
