About the YouTube B-Roll Shot List Planner

YouTube B-Roll Shot List Planner connects each spoken line or script beat to a visual requirement. Rows record the intended visual, shot type and whether it is still needed, planned or captured.

Coverage metrics show the total rows, captured items and rows with no visual description. Add or remove rows as the script changes, then export the complete production list as CSV.

CSV cells that begin with spreadsheet formula characters are neutralized before export. The planner does not supply footage or rights; confirm permission for locations, people, clips, artwork and music.

Key features

  • Spoken-line to visual mapping
  • Editable shot-type field
  • Needed, planned and captured statuses
