Frequently asked questions
- What does error correction do?
- Higher error correction lets the QR code still scan even if part of it is dirty, damaged or covered by a logo, at the cost of a slightly denser code. Medium is a good default.
- Is there a limit to how much text I can encode?
- Yes. QR codes have a maximum capacity, and very long text may not fit. If it is too long the tool will let you know so you can shorten it.
