Classroom Seating Planner fills a configurable desk grid from front to back using names and optional roll numbers. Shuffle the class when you need a fresh arrangement, or restore the original order.

How to use

Frequently asked questions

How are students assigned?
Names are placed across open desks from the front row to the back in original or shuffled order.
Can I create aisles?
Yes. Click desk positions to block them and create gaps in the layout.
Does the planner randomize names?
Yes. Shuffle creates a new random order, and Original order restores the pasted list.
What happens when there are too few desks?
A warning shows how many students do not have a seat.
